Like the organic fine green beans that they cultivate, our smallholder farmers in the highlands of Ethiopia are also resilient. They are experts in their land and climate conditions. They partner with Greenpath to ensure productive, sustainable growth through the country’s intensely hot dry season as well as the rainy season.
Legumes are a core part of regenerative, organic agriculture since they naturally return nitrogen to the soil. Our organic green fine beans are one of the central crops in our permaculture inspired model. More than organic, we push the envelope in favour of land preservation and rich biodiversity, to benefit future generations of plants and people. As a next step toward lowering our imprint even further, we also utilize solar-powered irrigation.
